Thomas K. Adkins

Thomas “Tom” K. Adkins, 65 of Goshen died Monday evening, August 15, 2016 at Courtyard Healthcare.

He was born April 28, 1951 in Holden, West Virginia to Perlie and Freda (Adams) Adkins.

Survivors include a brother, Larry (Audie) Adkins of Frisco, Texas; four nieces, Ronna (Mark) Beck and Julie (Jeff) Sweetser, both of Goshen, Laura (Steven) Hall of Robinson, Texas and Rachel (Eric) Weeaks of Waco, Texas; two great nephews and four great nieces.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Adkins.

A 1969 graduate of Middlebury High School, Tom served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam as a military policeman.  He worked as a lineman for GTE and Verizon phone companies for 35 years.

He enjoyed music and playing with his band mates.

Friends may call Saturday, August 20, 2016 one hour prior to the 2 p.m. memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
