Theresa Ellen Mason

Theresa E. Mason, 73, of Elkhart, died unexpectedly Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born December 12, 1946 in Goshen to James and Mary Louise (Martin) Davidhizar.

On December 24, 1965, she married Jerry L. Mason in Goshen.  He died December 4, 1991.

Survivors include a son, Gerry J. (Sue Uzunoff) Mason of South Bend; a granddaughter, Jacqueline Mason; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Amber Akers of Elkhart and a brother, Gordon Davidhizar of Goshen.

A 1965 graduate of Goshen High School, Theresa owned and operated Albert’s in South Bend.

Private funeral services will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home with burial following in Violett Cemetery.  Pastor Dave Troxel will officiate.

Memorial donations may be given to Elkhart County Humane Society.
