Theodore Stouder Jr., 84, of Goshen, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, April 17, 2013, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born August 2, 1928 in Goshen, to Theodore L. and Ruby (Good) Stouder. On July 25, 1948 in Goshen, he married Helen Nusbaum. She survives along with two sons, Randy (Michelle) Stouder of Elkhart, and Brad Stouder of Goshen; four grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis Blough of Goshen. Mr. Stouder served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1948. He owned and operated Stouders Custom Home Builders until his retirement. He was a member of the Goshen V.F.W. and Middlebury American Legion. He served on the Goshen Hospital Board in the 1970's, and was also involved in the Goshen High School Building Trades program. A 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, memorial service will be conducted at Manor II, 1425 Greencroft Drive, Goshen. According to his wishes, his body will be cremated. Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery.
