Thelma Lucille Clark

Thelma L. Clark, 87, of Winona Lake passed away Sunday morning, August 12, 2012, at Grace Village Assisted Living. She was born October 19, 1924 in Elkhart to Victor and Laura (Hoover) Pletcher. She married Clifford W. Clark September 23, 1944 in Goshen. He preceded her in death July 27, 1990. She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Bryan) Rathke of Milford; two sons, Kenton L. (Susan) Clark of Fort Wayne, and Dr. James D. (Jane) Clark of Trabuco Canyon, California; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant brothers. A longtime area resident, she graduated from Concord High School in 1943. Mrs. Clark worked as a receptionist for Yoder, Ainlay, Ulmer and Buckingham until her retirement in 1981. She was a former member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren. An 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2012, graveside service will be conducted at West Goshen Cemetery with Pastor Rob Nelson officiating.
