Thavisith “T” Mounsithiraj

Thavisith “T” Mounsithiraj, 56, of Goshen, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born November 16, 1967 in Vientiane, Laos the second of six children born to Theuang and Damdouane (Luangrath) Mounsithiraj.

On May 28, 1993 he married Jean Martin in Goshen.

She survives along with their six children, Tyler (Anina), Chicago, Annie (Seth Ringger), Nappanee, Kate, Molly, Kaleb and Luke, all of Goshen; a sister, Khingkham, and brothers, Thavisak (Anita), Viratham (Amy) and Manotham (Kristen O’Dell), all of Goshen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Phonethip.

Mr. T, Coach T, Pastor T, husband, dad, brother, uncle or friend, it didn’t matter what name he went by, he made sure those around him felt loved, listened to, and cared for.

He was known for so many things it is hard to put down words that express what he meant to all of us.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nappanee Missionary Church.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Nappanee Missionary Church. Pastors Joe Focht and Tim Veenstra will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in memory of Thavisith may be directed to Nappanee Missionary Church for AGC Baby Center Kenya, Africa.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory, Goshen.
