Terry Lee Weirick, 65, of Goshen, died at his home early Saturday morning, February 15, 2014. He was born September 24, 1948 in Goshen to Ancil and Romaine (Miller) Weirick. On July 11, 1987 he married Rebecca L. "Becky" Burkhead in Goshen. She survives along with two daughters, Amy Gilson and Stacy (Mick) Tubbs, both of Elkhart; two step-sons, Robert (Robin) Lawton, Goshen and Raymond (Dusti) Lawton, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ellen Mishler and a brother, Edward "Butch" Weirick, both of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Berdina Krallman and a brother, Sonny Weirick. An Army veteran, Mr. Weirick served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1970 and with the reserves from 1970-73. A lifetime Goshen resident, Mr. Weirick worked as a welder at Supreme. He enjoyed fishing, hunting mushrooms and frogs; and most outdoor activities. A tinkerer, he enjoyed spending time with his family. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the DAV#15, 708 Pike Street, Goshen. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. There will be no burial. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
