Terry Lee Sylvester

Terry L. Sylvester, 72, of Goshen, died Saturday afternoon, April 21, 2012 at IU Health Goshen Hospital after a five year battle with cancer. He was born April 12, 1940 in Oak Park, Illinois to Clarence and Marjorie (Briggs) Sylvester. He is survived by five children, April Sylvester of Elkhart, Robert (Colette) Sylvester of Syracuse, Jeff Long of Goshen, Terry (Lori) Wuthrich of Constantine, Michigan, and Sherrie (Ralph) Robinson of Bristol; two brothers, David (Lisa) Sylvester of Goshen, and Glen (Walda) Sylvester of Lima, Montana; a sister, Elta (Scott) Bradford of Goshen; and eight grandchildren, Hunter and Cruse Williams, Jewel Sylvester, Mary, Joe and Matt Wuthrich, and Billy and Megan Robinson. An avid car enthusiast, he worked as an escort for oversized loads till 2010. He had also worked for Sylvester Tree Service. Friends may call 9:30 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11 a.m. funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Dwight Gosser, New Life Christian Center, Bristol, will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
