Terry Lee Martin

Terry Lee Martin, 58, of Bristol, died early Sunday morning, October 5, 2008, at his home after a five year illness. He was born in Goshen on July 21, 1950, to Dale and Fannie (Otto) Martin.  He married Cindy Miller on January 15, 1972 in Goshen.  She survives. A lifelong resident of the area, Mr. Martin worked as a cabinet builder for Forest River from 1997 to 2003, when he became ill.  He served with the US Army in Vietnam and was a life member of the DAV.  He enjoyed woodworking, campfires with the grandchildren, mushrooming and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; two sons, Jason (Carmen) Martin of Elkhart, and Trenton (Angela) Martin of Post Fall, Idaho; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Mike (Rose) Martin and Dennis (Kay) Martin, both of Shipshewana; and a sister, Sharylle Mundy of Goshen. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Ed Fritz of First United Methodist Church, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
