Teresita Diaz

Teresita Diaz, 72, Goshen, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Indiana Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born April 24, 1954, in San Antonio, Texas, to Jose and Nestora (Estrada) Hernandez.

Surviving are children Jose M. Diaz, Sonia (Steve) Williams, Mike (April) Diaz, Mark Diaz, and Christina (Michael) Cline, all of Goshen; former husband Manuel S. Diaz, Goshen; grandchildren Nikolas, Marisa, Piper, Phoebe, Darci, Juston, Austin, Ryen, Lauren, Soraya, Mark, Tyler, Breyana, Braxton, and Mia; great-grandchildren Easton, Aria, Nevaeh, Andrew, Sophia, and Malina; and siblings Joe Hernandez, Topeka, Mary Morris, Milford, Fred Hernandez, Elkhart, David Hernandez, Goshen, and Alice (Roy) Navarro, Warsaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Nestora, brothers Frank and Manuel Hernandez, and sister Connie Hermosillo.

Teresita found great joy in spending time with her family and treasured the moments they shared together. She loved cooking for those she cared about and had a true gift for gardening, possessing a green thumb and a special love for flowers and tending to her garden. She also enjoyed crocheting and working on puzzle books. A devoted daughter, she lovingly cared for her mother until the age of 94.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 24, from 3-7 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. funeral service . Pastor Victor Mojica from Clearview Church will officiate. According to Teresita’s wishes, she will be cremated following her service and will be buried at a later date in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
