Teresa Michelle Burkhead

Teresa M. Burkhead, 47, of Goshen, died Friday, November 9, 2018, at home with her mother and sister at her side.

She was born June 22, 1971 in Goshen.

Survivors include her mother, Katherine Ott and a sister, Heather Burkhead, both of Goshen and a niece, Mikayla Burkhead of Lexington, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Burkhead.

The daughter of a career Army man, Teresa grew up in many different locations in the U.S. and eight years in Germany.  She loved Germany and Switzerland.

An avid reader and animal lover, especially dogs and horses, Teresa had a pet Pomeranian Sheltie, Taz.  Teresa had many interests, including music of all kinds, international food and the histories of Ireland and Scotland and anything Celtic.

Teresa loved her family and friends deeply and she enjoyed spending time with all, especially her niece, Mikayla.

She worked as a front desk clerk at the Goshen Super 8 Hotel for 17 years.

Per Teresa’s request, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory and no services will be held.
