Tamra Sue Rink

Tamra Sue Rink, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at Methodist Hospital, Merrillville.

She was born November 22, 1958, to Terry M. and Delores Ellen (Heckaman) Bender.

On June 29, 1986, she married Rick Rink in Middlebury.

He survives along with a son, Stephen (Kristin) Riley and their children, Brock and Braylee, of New Paris; a stepdaughter, Misty Rink of Goshen and a brother, Joel L. (Melanie) Bender of Los Angeles, California.

A lifetime area resident, Tamra graduated from Fairfield High School in 1977.  She worked at Bender Grocery, Old Time Pizza, and The Landmark.  Her hobbies included painting ceramics, gardening, and camping.  Her greatest joy was babysitting and caring for her grandkids.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 6:30 p.m. funeral service will be conducted.  Family friend, Rev. John Lantz, will officiate.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Inurnment will be later at Brown Cemetery.
