Susan L. Kowalenko

Susan L. Kowalenko, 70, of New Paris, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at her home.  She had been ill the past year.

She was born May 12, 1947 in London, England to Kenneth and Frances (Britt) Orange.

On February 14, 1987 she married Jake Kowalenko in Elkhart.

He survives along with a daughter, Michelle (Dan) McGuire Patterson of Forsyth, Illinois; two sons, Jonn (Colleen) Kowalenko of Hellertown, Pennsylvania and Jarel (Bambi) Kowalenko of Goshen; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Trish James of The Villages, Florida and Sandy Cook of Sanatoga, Pennsylvania.

Susan worked in customer service for Keystone, Inc.

A celebration of Susan’s life will take place Sunday, July 2, 2017, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Sunnyside Park, 68433 Clinton St., New Paris.

According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
