Sue Miller, 71, of Goshen, died late Saturday morning, April 5, 2008, at her home after a one year battle with breast cancer. She was born in South Haven, Michigan, on February 5, 1937, to Roy and Dena (Drost) Chatfield. She married Calvin E. Miller on March 20, 1954 in Hartford City, Indiana. He died July 25, 1999. She was a 1955 graduate of Ligonier High School. Mrs. Miller moved to Goshen in 1969 coming from Ligonier. She was owner and CEO of Tower Advertising Products, Inc. of Topeka. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Goshen; Maplecrest Country Club, Goshen’ and River Wilderness Club in Parrish, Florida. Mrs. Miller was an avid golfer. She is survived by a daughter, Vickie Maust of Elkhart; three sons, Craig (Sonya) Miller of Goshen, Bruce Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada and Scott (Michele) Miller of Twinsburg, Ohio; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Charla Fought of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her husband. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 8 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church. The Wednesday, April 9, 2008, funeral service is set to begin at 10:00 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, Goshen. Pastors Ed and Brenda Fritz will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier. Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Care at Home or First United Methodist Church.
