Sue A. Egli

Sue A. Egli 68, of Goshen passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021 with her family by her side.

Sue was born on Nov. 12 1952 in Elkhart to Elroy “Roy” Troyer and Alberta (Cross) Troyer. On July 9, 1972 she married Roger Egli in Middlebury. She was a member of the First Brethren Church of Goshen.

Sue was preceded in death by her father.

Sue’s husband, Roger, survives, along with a son, Jamie (Rebecca) Egli, a grandson, Brooks, two granddaughters, Lyla and Gracie of Lexington, Kentucky; her mother, Alberta (Cross) Troyer of Goshen; two sisters, LaVonda (Rick) Waldron of New Paris, Jolene (Glen) Miller of Goshen; three brothers, Steve Troyer of Union, Michigan, Kemit (Micki) Troyer of Middlebury, LaVon (Paige) Troyer of Bristol.

Mrs. Egli was the Athletic Coordinator at Goshen Middle School and had a positive impact on thousands of students in her 26 years of service to GMS.

Visitation for the public will be in the Goshen Middle School gymnasium from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021. A graveside service reserved for the family will immediately follow. Pallbearers will be Steve Troyer, Kermit Troyer, LaVon Troyer, Rick Waldron, Glen Miller, Chad Troyer, Casey Troyer, Trevor Troyer and Tyler Miller.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Goshen Middle School Athletics may be made in Sue’s honor.
