Steven K. Jacobs

Steven K. Jacobs, 69, of Goshen, died early Tuesday morning, February 7, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital where he had been a patient for a week. He was born December 28, 1942 in Goshen to the late William H. and Eva Fay (Whitmer) Jacobs. He is survived by two sons, Dale (Laurie) Jacobs of Grand Haven, Michigan, and Tracy (Angel) Jacobs of Goshen; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Jacobs and a sister, Betty Kyle. A lifetime Goshen resident, Mr. Jacobs served with the US Army from 1960-63. He attended Goshen High School and was devoted to his longtime companion, Harley, his rat terrier. An 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 13, 2012, graveside service, with military honors by the Goshen Honor Guard, will be conducted in the Veterans' section at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
