Steven L. Hershberger

Steven L. Hershberger, 44, of Goshen, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, in Puerto Viejo de Limon, Costa Rica, while on a school trip with Fairfield High School students. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 17, 1964, to David R. and Miriam (Miller) Hershberger. Mr. Hershberger was an English teacher at Fairfield High School. He is survived by his parents, Dave and Miriam Hershberger of Sarasota, Florida; a sister, Diane (Jim) Bontrager of McPherson, Kansas; two nieces, Meagan and Shelby Bontrager at home; a nephew, Tyler Bontrager at home; and grandparents, Omar Miller of Kalona, Iowa, and Paul and Malinda Hershberger of Sarasota, Florida. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, June 18 at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, Goshen, where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held in Kalona, Iowa, at the Fairview Mennonite Church on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Kalona, Iowa.
