Stephen A. Miller, 77, of Goshen passed peacefully at home with his wife by his side, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, and went home to be with the Lord.
He was born January 2, 1947 in Goshen to Jay Alvin and G. Jeanette (Twiford) Miller.
On March 25, 1972 he married Mavis Stutzman in Goshen.
She survives along with their children, Janeen (Bill) Goeller and Regina Miller, both of Mishawaka, and Mark (Amy Myers) Miller of Elkhart; and three siblings, David Miller and Janice Pearson, both of Goshen, and Randall (Sue) Miller of Bristol.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Margaret Miller.
Mr. Miller was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the New Life Christian Center, Bristol. He worked for 40 years as a lineman for NIPSCO.
Stephen participated in many mission trips throughout his life, sharing his love and commitment to his Lord Jesus Christ. He always tried to stay active and especially enjoyed biking with the neighborhood group.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Vance Stech will officiate.
A private burial with military honors will be at West Goshen Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or New Life Christian Center.
