Stephanie S. Lacounte

Stephanie S. LaCounte, 45, of Goshen, died at her home Thursday evening, November 17, 2011. She was born in Elkhart August 15, 1966. She married Shayne LaCounte April 21, 1992 in Elkhart. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Austin LaCounte of Kansas City, Missouri, and Slade LaCounte, at home; her mother and step-father, Ann (Grisamer) and Joe Gregory of Goshen; a sister, Tammy (Billy) Wiesman of Goshen; a brother, Brian Swinehart of Goshen; three step-brothers, Joe (Sinead) Gregory of Indianapolis, Jeremy (Jamie) Gregory of Goshen, and Seth (Ashley) Gregory of Elkhart; and two step-sisters, Monica (Matt) Zimmerman of Bristol, and Jessica (Justin) Miller of Goshen. A 1984 graduate of Goshen High School, she was owner, along with her husband, of Choice 1 Communications. She also sold merchandise at Shipshewana Auction on Wednesdays. A Notre Dame fan, she enjoyed going to Las Vegas. Friends may call 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
