Stanley Arden Timmons

Stanley A. Timmons, 80, of Goshen, died Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Majestic Care of Goshen.

He was born July 3, 1943 in Goshen to Robert W. and Carol A. (Martin) Timmins.

On August 10, 1973 he married Carol G. (Inks) Kramer in Clintwood, Virginia.

She survives along with three daughters, Dawn Timmons, Mishawaka, Carmen (Dave) Whitman, Middlebury, and Stacey (Phil) Myers, Warsaw; two sons, Brian Summers, Columbus, and Ryan (Sherry) Timmons, Goshen; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers, Robert (Alta) Timmins, Goshen, and Ray (Diane) Timmins, Elkhart; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son, Stanley; and brothers, John, Larry, Eric and Pat Timmins.

Stanley was a Goshen High School graduate and veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a machinist for NIBCO and A/C Fabricating. He was a member of the Goshen VFW and Moose Lodge.

He was an avid bowler and member of various bowling leagues. Stanley achieved six 300 games; one 800 series; and was a 25-year member of the Bowling Association; serving 20 years on the lane inspection committee.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 4, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at LifePoint Church.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
