Stanley L. Johnson

Stanley L. Johnson, 94, of Middlebury, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Elkhart Place.

He was born July 22, 1926 in Goshen to Lewis and Hester Mae (Meyer) Johnson.

On April 19, 1957 he married Darlene May Yoder in Goshen.  She died December 2, 2018.

Survivors include three daughters, Debra (Dennis), Kathleen and Christy; seven grandchildren, Lee (Lisa), Ty (Jenn), Mike (Elaine), Erika (David) Shelly (Brad), Stacy (Matt) and Taylor; seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty.

Mr. Johnson was a veteran and for a short time, served as a police officer.  He was an over the road truck driver who enjoyed boating and skiing on Lake Wawasee and barbecuing.

Burial will be in Violett Cemetery.
