Stanley L. Bickel

Stanley L. Bickel, 65, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born January 17, 1958 in Goshen.

Stanley is survived by his mother, Gladys M. (DeWilde) Bickel of Goshen; and four siblings, David (Janel) Thomas of Goshen, Kathy (Bob) Borden of Atlanta, Georgia, Paul (Angie) Bickel of New Paris and Ruth Bickel of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mars W. Bickel.

A kind and generous man, Stan always looked out for his family and took special care of his 104-year-old mother. He enjoyed building things, automobiles and gun and knife shows. He had a special love for his dog Bailey.

Stan worked as a crane operator and truck driver for Bull Moose Tube, Elkhart.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9, 2023, from 11 to 2 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen.

Cremation will follow the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
