Stanley E. Barrick

Stanley E. Barrick, 90, of Elkhart died Friday evening, June 26, 2015 at Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen. He was born March 2, 1925 in Elkhart to Earl and Lula Barrick. On March 8, 1951 he married Retha Witmer in Goshen. She survives along with a daughter, Debra (Greg) Stuart of Osceola; a son, Michael (Sharon) Barrick of Goshen; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pauline Padgett of Elkhart and Gladys Petrie of Mars, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Robert, Wilbur and Charles Barrick. A 1943 Concord High School graduate, Stanley served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a devoted family man and worked at Whitehall Laboratories in the shipping department until retirement. The body will be cremated with burial in North Webster, Mock's Addition at a later date. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen is assisting with arrangements.
