Stacey L. Bird

July 3, 1968 — June 14, 2023

Stacey L. Bird, 54, of Elkhart died Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 3, 1968 in Goshen.

On July 25, 2004 she married Terry Bird in Goshen.

He survives along with two daughters, Kathryn Lantz and Alicia Lantz, both of Elkhart; a grandson, Jacob Lantz; a brother, David (Bobbie) Mast of  Goshen; a sister, Kathy (Robert) Schrock of El Paso, Texas; and her mother, Bonnie (Anglemyer) Mast of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Mast.

A 1986 graduate of Goshen High School, Stacey worked in cosmetology for more than 37 years. In 2013 she bought her own business, Bristol Family Hair Care.  She was an avid bowler, having bowled a 300 game. Stacey was especially fond of time with her grandson, Jacob.

Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted Tuesday. Rev. Ron Johnson, a cousin, will conduct the service.

Cremation will take place after the service with burial at Clinton Union Cemetery, Goshen at a later date.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the family to assist with final expenses.
