Shirley J. Wilham, 80, of Goshen, died Saturday, December 26, 2020, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
She was born June 23, 1940 in Effingham, Illinois to Everett and Maxine (Porter) Hawn.
On August 11, 1957 she married Charles W. Wilham in Anderson. He died August 25, 2016.
Survivors include four children, Mary V. (Clifford) Wilham Countway of Mishawaka, Thomas (Tammee) Wilham of Bronson, Michigan, Timothy W. (Terry) Wilham of Lexington, Kentucky and Daniel A. (Donna) Wilham of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and two brothers, James (Joann) Hawn of Boulder, Colorado and Everett “Wayne” (Kirsten) Hawn of Wakarusa.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John Wilham; three sisters, Erma Hawn, Stella Pearson and Janice Barker and a brother, William Hawn.
A Goshen resident since 1958, Mrs. Wilham worked as a press operator at Goshen Rubber for 21 years.
A member of the Church of the Nazarene for more than 50 years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and travelling.
A private graveside service will take place at Jackson Cemetery. Rev. Randy Hartman will officiate.
Memorial donations may be given to New Paris Church of the Nazarene.
