Shirley A. Miller

Shirley A. Miller, 85, of Goshen, died Saturday, September 2, 2023 surrounded by family at the home of her son in Minier, Illinois.

She was born March 19, 1938 in Nappanee. On August 27, 1953 she married James H. Miller in Raton, New Mexico. He died March 20, 2014.

Survivors include two daughters, Vicki A. Miller of Warsaw, and Cynthia J. Spaulding of Goshen; four sons, Douglas J. (Melanie) Miller of Goshen, Martin C. Miller of Idaho, Dennis R. (Carol) Miller of Minier, Illinois, and Curtiss J. Miller of Elkhart; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Leona (Burkholder) Kilmer; two sons, Mitchell C. Miller and Bryan K. Miller; a daughter, Terri L. Stanfill; grandson, Patrick W. Stanfill; and a granddaughter, Courtney L. Miller.

Mrs. Miller retired from Syndicate Systems in Middlebury where she had worked in quality control.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 9, from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
