Shirley Jean Lapree

Shirley Jean LaPree, 71, of Elkhart, died Saturday afternoon, June 23, 2007, at East Lake Nursing Center and Rehabilitation. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 10, 1935, to Ernest and Hesster Pfaff.  On January 17, 1960, she married Warren E. LaPree in New Castle, Indiana.  He died December 16, 1995. A member of the Northside Church of the Nazarene in Elkhart, Mrs. LaPree is survived by a daughter, Mary Ward of Elkhart, two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; and two brothers, Fred and John Pfaff. Friends will be received 9 to 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2007, funeral service will be held at the funeral home.  Rev. Lane Fosnaugh of the Northside Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burail will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to the Northside Church of the Nazarene.
