Sherrie L. Blosser, 80, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, April 11, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born December 5, 1942, in Goshen, Indiana to Lewis and Betty (Miller) Hartzler.
On June 23, 1963, she married Frederick Blosser in Goshen.
She is survived by two daughters, Terri Blosser of Goshen, and Angie Chupp of Goshen; a son-in-law Steve Chupp, and two grandsons Jacob and Michael Chupp; and one brother, Edward Hartzler.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Frederick, along with her parents.
Sherrie retired from Model Elementary School where she was a cook in the cafeteria for 34 years. As a young woman she worked at Plaut’s Department Store in Goshen.
Sherrie was a kind, caring, and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting angels.
She also loved taking “girls only” trips with her two daughters.
Sherrie and her late husband, “Fred,” enjoyed attending Sunday services at River Oaks Community Church.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 21 st and Saturday, April 22, from 12:00 until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Tilley will officiate.
Burial will follow at Olive West Cemetery, Elkhart.
Memorial donations may be given to River Oaks Community Church.
