Sharon K. Yoder, 76, of Goshen, died Monday, May 30, 2022 at Orchard Point, Kendallville.
She was born July 26, 1945 in Wyatt to Calvin and Isabella (Ulery) Grise.
On November 26, 1966 she married Joseph W. Yoder at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Woodland. He died September 1, 2018.
Survivors include three sons, Rodney (Kelly) Yoder and Tony (Linny) Yoder, both of Goshen, and Scott (Kelly) Yoder of Plymouth; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Connie (Jerry) Rose of Marion.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Robert and Kenny Grise.
Sharon was a 1963 graduate of Madison Township High School and current member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen. She dedicated 5 years of employment to New Life Church,12 years to Youth for Christ, and retired from Greencroft in 2008 after 18 years of service.
She was a loving wife and mother, who sacrificially cared for her family and friends. Sharon also loved Jesus and was committed to following Him.
Friends may call Friday, June 10, 2022 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 6 p.m. memorial service will be held. Her son, Pastor Scott Yoder, Crossroads Church, Plymouth, will officiate.
According to her wishes, Sharon’s body was donated to the I.U. School of Medicine. Her cremated remains will be buried in Bremen Cemetery at a later date.
