Sharon G. Steadman, 53, died Tuesday morning, December 15, 2009, at Goshen General Hospital, where she was admitted December 5. She has lived in Elkhart County for the past 40 years, coming from West Virginia. She was born in Fayette County, West Virginia, on December 1, 1956, to the late Kenneth E. Gray and Nellie M. (Morris) Gray, she survives. She married Raymond Michael Steadman on December 14, 1985, in Goshen, he survives. A homemaker, Mrs. Steadman was also an evangelistic minister. She was a graduate of Goshen High School and a member of Trinity Holiness Tabernacle. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Elizabeth (Justin) Lehman, Lykens, Missouri; two sons, Raymond Michael Steadman, Jr., Neosho, Missouri, Nathaniel Andrew Steadman, Mooresville, North Carolina; and four brothers, John Morris, Tom Gray, Kenneth Gray, all of Goshen, and Roger (Stacey) Gray, Syracuse. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2009, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 7 p.m., Thursday, December 17, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Michael A. Johnson, of Trinity Holiness Tabernacle, and Rev. Fannie B. Hale, of Vision for Christ Missions, will be officiating. A 10 a.m., Friday, December 18, burial, will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be made out to the family.
