Sharol L. Haney

Sharol L. Haney, 77, died early Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter Tammy, following a nine month illness. She was born January 29, 1935 in Goshen to the late Ora E. and Orpha (Tully) Miller. She married Abraham Junior Haney February 1, 1953. He died April 12, 1996. Surviving are two daughters Cindy (Ron) Valentine, Bristol, and Tammy (Jeff) Clouse, Middlebury; a son James (Rebecca) Haney, Elkhart; five grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one step-brother, Steve (Ruth) Stump, Goshen. Mrs. Haney retired in 1980 after 16 years from Skyline Corp. She was head of bookkeeping and clerking for Dwight Miller Auctioneering for 29 years. She attended Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church. She was a member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 210, where she was very active, and a 1952 graduate of Goshen High School. Friends may call 2-5 p.m., Sunday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Monday funeral service will be held. Pastor Russ Hunsberger of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church will officiate. Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be from the American Legion Riders. Memorial Contributions may be made to Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
