Shari D. Gingerich, 84, of Goshen passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Majestic Healthcare of Goshen.

She was born June 26, 1939 in Goshen to Elmer and Weltha (Hooley) Miller.

On October 1, 1961, she married Richard A. Gingerich. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage.

He survives along with two children, Richard E. (Robin) Gingerich and Kathy D. (Michael) Geiger, both of New Paris; six grandchildren, Randy Gingerich (fiancé Liz Martin), Robby (Kelsie) Gingerich and Richele (Cory) Stoner and Janell, Megan and Ryan (McKenna) Geiger; eight great-grandchildren, Natalie, Nolan, Luke, Sam, Cole, Caroline, Greylynn and Emmalynn; and a sister, Janet Stump of Goshen.

A member of Grace Community Church, Shari worked many years for Menno Travel specializing in organizing bus tours.

Shari was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma and great grandma that loved her family very much. She loved Jesus and spent many years leading Bible studies.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 10 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 funeral service will be held.  Pastors Jim Brown and Mike Silliman will officiate.

Burial will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
