Shari A. Burris

Shari A. Burris, 60, of Goshen, died on April 28, 2026. She was born on October 30, 1965, to Donald Burris Sr. and Trudy (Elkins) Cox.

Shari is survived by her siblings, Donald Jr. (Kay) Burris, Goshen, David Fields, Florida, Melissa (Dan) Emerick, Millersburg, and Kevin Fields, Iowa; six nephews; 12 nieces; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandmother, Joan Elkins, four nephews and one niece.

Shari worked as an LPN at Greencroft Retirement Community, Goshen campus. She was an avid reader, a lover of music, and a wonderful cook. She also enjoyed traveling and vacationing. Shari was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, and aunt.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange.
