Sgt. Bryan Marchant

Sgt. Bryan Marchant, 38, of Joint Base Lewis-McCord, Washington, died unexpectedly Monday morning, July 23, 2012. He was born Feb. 12, 1974 in Goshen to Roy and Jackie (Cottingham) Marchant, Elkhart. Also surviving is a daughter, Jenelle Marchant, and a son, Brandon Marchant, both of Nappanee; grandparents, Cecil and Wanda Marchant and aunt, Janet (Karl) King, all of Edwardsburg; and a brother, Jon (Brandi) Marchant, Goshen. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Norma Cottingham. A graduate of Northridge High School, Bryan attended Indiana State University and Indiana University South Bend where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business in May 2003. He was currently serving with the U.S. Army. A private graveside service will be conducted at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osceola.
