Scott Dwayne Varney

Scott Dwayne Varney, 59, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Goshen Hospital.

Scott served his county in the Army and the Navy.  The simplest of pleasures brought great joy to Scott.  He loved country evenings, working in his garage, and early mornings with a hot cup of coffee.  His quirky sense of humor and an abundance of “dad jokes” was what most people remember about him.

He is survived by a brother, Gordon Varney Jr. of Texas; three sisters, Cheryl Woods, Amanda Baker and Kathy Wall, all of Missouri; a daughter, Jessica Ziegler and four grandchildren of Florida and fiancé, Danette Dills of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wanda and Gordon Varney.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
