Scott Lambert

Scott Lambert, 49, of South Bend, died Thursday, May 18, 2017 at his home.

He was born January 18, 1968 in Goshen to Louis and Belva (Berkey) Lambert, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Belva Belcher, Goshen; five children, Joey (Tori) Lambert, Goshen, Cheyenne Lambert, Goshen, Skyler Lambert, Goshen, Jason (Brett) Stanfill Elkhart, and Joshua (Jessica) Hershberger, Elkhart; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Louis (Tamyra) Lambert, Jr., Middlebury; and a sister, Tracie Lambert, Goshen.

Along with his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Freeze.

Scott worked as a heating and cooling technician and was a member of the Goshen Moose.  He raced at New Paris Speedway and enjoyed NASCAR racing; riding his Harley; camping; bonfires; and fishing. He also enjoyed time with family, especially building and racing remote control cars with his grandchildren.

Scott was a beloved family member and friend.  He will be missed by all.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 10, at Grace Community Church, Goshen, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.
