Scott R. Harrod, 64, of Goshen died Monday, June 22, 2026 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born June 12, 1962 in Muncie to Robert and Karen (McCartney) Harrod. They preceded him in death.

On June 13, 1998 he married Sheri Dills in Goshen.

He is survived by his wife and two children, Jessica (Quinton) Stowell of Goshen and Matthew (Ashley) Harrod of Albany, Kentucky; grandchildren, Tyler Stowell, Loren and Robert Harrod; and siblings Shelly (John) Himes and Adam (Wendy) Harrod, both of Muncie; and a nephew, Westley (Angela) Harrod, of Muncie.

Mr Harrod worked in maintenance for the Dairy Farmers of America. He was a handy man who took pride in being able to fix whatever mechanical issue crossed his path.

He had a huge heart for his family, he especially enjoyed playing video games with his grandsons. He was also a man of faith and spent time regularly reading the Bible.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A 1 p.m. funeral service will be conducted Friday, June 26, 2026 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Baintertown Cemetery, New Paris.
