Sarah J. Kilmer

Sarah J. Kilmer, 89, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born December 19, 1932 in Washington, Pennsylvania to William and Anna (Plants) Boardley.

On June 9, 1951 she married Willard Kilmer in South Bend.

She is survived by three children, Stephen (Michelle) Kilmer of Elkhart, Linda (Keith) Yoder of Goshen and Brian (Lisa) Kilmer of Fort Wayne; a foster son, Patrick (Sue) Trainer of South Bend; two sisters, Sylvia Daniels of Sturgis, Michigan and Yvonne Craig of Charlotte, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Clara Kilmer of Goshen; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband Sarah was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Gampher; a brother-in-law Samford Kilmer; a grandson, Michael Yoder and a step-grandson, Chad Briner.

Sarah was a former packing associate at SPX Corporation, La Grange for 23 years. She loved to spend time with her grandkids, coloring books, Florida views and weather as well as gardening and flowers.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service, Thursday, January 6 ^th , 2022 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Carl Horner Will officiate.

Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
