Sarah Conley

Sarah “Sandy” M. Conley, 87, of Elkhart passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at Majestic Care of Goshen.

She was born September 10, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Not a lot is known about her early years other than she grew up in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

Sarah was stationed in Germany while serving in the United States Army. Following her service, she raised two daughters, Sonja Allen and Vanessa Hampton, both of California, and four grandchildren, Victoria (Daniel) Santistevan, Crystal Dodd, Leila (Daniel) Clark and Richard Hampton.

Her siblings preceded her in death, she credits her sister, Mildred as her best friend.

Sarah worked for AT&T in telecommunications. She enjoyed playing BINGO, spending time with grandchildren, and heading to Las Vegas when ever possible. She was also an avid LA Clippers basketball fan.

According to her wishes cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. No other services are planned.
