Sarah Evans Alvizo

Sarah Evans Alvizo, 36, of Goshen, died Friday, June 1, 2018, at her home.

She was born October 15, 1981 in Salem, Massachusetts.

Survivors include five children, Caeden Evans, Marshall Elliott and Annelise, Amelia and Antonio “T” Alvizo, all at home; her parents, Laurie Evans and William “Bill” Evans; three siblings, Catherine Evans, Ashley (Matthew) Meyerink and Tyler Evans, all of Goshen; a grandmother, Mary Potter of Peabody, Massachusetts, numerous aunts and uncles in New England; and a niece, Eden Meyerink.

Sarah was preceded in death by a nephew, Nicklos Meyerink.

A stay at home mom, Sarah worked part time at LaSalle Bristol before her illness and as a CNA at several nursing homes and Goshen Hospital.  Her legacy will be her children.

Sarah will be remembered for how she battled her illness and was always willing to help others, no matter her own condition.  She was the best cook in the family.

Friends may call Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 4 until the 7 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow the service and burial will be in Violett Cemetery on Friday.
