Sandra Lee Price

Sandra Lee Price, 67, of South Bend, died Saturday evening, January 5, 2013, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend from injuries sustained in a home invasion on December 27. She was born March 31, 1945 in Goshen to Christ J. and Betty Lou (Clason) Rink. She married Kent Price in Edwardsburg. He survives along with her father, Christ Rink, South Bend; her adopted mother and father, Samuel and Margaret Clason, Edwardsburg, Mich.; four daughters, Beth Ann Beaty, South Bend, Dawn Marie (Tim) Sanderson and Melissa (Willie) Riehl, both of LaGrange, and Michelle Lynn Sumerset, Los Angeles, Calif.; a step-son, Kent E. (Jenny) Price, Jr., Newport News, Va.; two step-daughters, Kristi Ann (Ted) Price-Finco, Owen, Mich. And Klarisa R. Price, South Bend; nine grandchildren, Anthony and Brooke Beaty, Ryan and Chad Sanderson and Seth, Cody, Dustin, Faith and Emily Riehl; four step-grandchildren, Conner, Cameron, Kiera and Austin Price; and two great-grandchildren, Maddex Beaty and Trey Sanderson. Also surviving are two sisters, Ruth Ann (John) Schlabach, Lindhurst, Va., and LeAnn (Phillip) Perry, Saltville, Va.; three brothers, Henry Rink, Titusville, Fla., Samuel (Patricia) Rink, Elkhart and Steven (Rose) Clason, Pierceton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother. She was an avid homemaker and genealogist. Friends may call Friday, January 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. and 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10 a.m., Saturday, January, 12, 2013, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Gingerich, Eden Worship Center, Topeka, officiating. Entombment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be given to M.S. Research.
