Sandra Kay Brock

Sandra Kay Brock, 64, of Goshen died early Wednesday morning, September 29, 2010, at her home after a 2 ½ year battle with esophageal cancer. She was born April 22, 1946 in Elkhart, to Joseph Fodroczi and Pauline (Shriner) Morehouse.  She married Terry Ray Brock on December 14, 1968 in Elkhart.  He survives. Also surviving are children, Jamey Brock of Goshen, Cissy (Seth) Hartsough of Goshen and Andy (Karen) Brock of Millersburg; grandchildren, Tyler and Alec Brock, and Samantha and Damon Hartsough; four sisters, Nancy Sims of Elkhart, Sue (J.T.) Franklin of Manchester, Tennessee, Linda Hollis and Georgiana (Kevin) Miller, both of Elkhart; two brothers, George Morehouse of Elkhart and Larry Morehouse of Goshen. A lifelong area resident, she worked at Johnson Controls for 38 years in shipping and receiving.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, volunteering for the Salvation Army and the annual Christmas bell ringing, exercising, gardening, cooking, Sunday and holiday family get togethers, and being part of the Penn Athletic Association. Friends may call 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An 11:00 am, Monday, October 4, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home.  Following the service her body will be cremated by Yoder-Culp Crematory. Memorials may be given to United Cancer Service of Elkhart County.
