Sandra G. Bartley

Sandra G. Bartley, 71, of Middlebury passed away, Thursday, March 13, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born April 13, 1953 in Marion to George and Mary (Fetter) Hurst. They preceded her in death.

On May 29, 1976 she married Harold “Hal” Bartley in Marion.

He survives along with four sons, Matthew, Adam, Andrew and Ryan; six grandchildren; and sisters, Connie (Keith) Lowe of Goshen and Sue (Steve) Wampner of Marion.

Mrs. Bartley was a 1975 graduate of Ball State University. She taught home economics at West Noble High School and Pierre Moran Jr. High School. Sandra earned her master’s degree in 1988 at Indiana University, South Bend and taught Special Education at Goshen Middle School. She was a life-long teacher even after her retirement.

Sandra enjoyed going on cruises, visiting Miami, Florida, traveling with her sisters, and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at a later date.
