Samuel S. Miller, 80, of Goshen died Friday afternoon, July 22, 2016 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
He was born August 14, 1935 in Goshen to Samuel T. and Lydia Mae (Troyer) Miller.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Lynn (William) Dishman of Goshen and Kimberly Yvonne (Kevin) Becker of Bristol; five grandchildren, Kasie (Andrew) Inczauskis, Eric (Sarah) Becker, Alicia Symanski, Nicholas Council and Riley Becker; a step-granddaughter, Carmen Lynn Ellis; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lillie (Dan) Bontrager of LaGrange, Amanda Stutzman of Brevard, North Carolina and Lydia Mae Schwartz of Centreville, Michigan.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Marie Mullet, Sarah Mae Helmuth, Ella Chupp, Rosa Lambright, Arlene Mast and Ruby Hochstetler; and three brothers, Tobias, Lester and Seth Miller.
Samuel was a member of Elkhart County Community Baptist Church, Elkhart and worked as a truck driver.
Friends may call Monday, July 25, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen. A 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 funeral service will be conducted at Clinton Frame Church, 63846 C.R. 35, Goshen. Rev. Ed Ritchie of Elkhart County Community Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will follow in Clinton Union Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Elkhart County Community Baptist Church or Harbour Light Hospice, Mishawaka.
