Samuel Igney, 58, of Goshen, passed away Saturday evening, February 2, 2013 at Hospice House of Elkhart. He was born in Goshen on May 5, 1954 to Thurl Dale and Bettie Jean Igney. They survive along with two sons, Todd (Jennifer) Igney of Goshen and Troy (Shannon) Igney of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren, Frances and Martin Igney and Tyse, Kayleena and Reese Igney; his girlfriend, Nancy; two brothers, Thurl Dale "T.D." (Angie) Jr. of Mokena, Illinois, and Mark (Sue) Igney of Westfield; three sisters, Laura Stout and Brianna (Bob) Rainbolt and Sheila (James) Brown, all of Elkhart; and former wife, Barbara Igney of Goshen. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly February 27, 1999. The owner of Rite-Way Steel, Sam was a member of Maplecrest Country Club and loved to golf. He also enjoyed NASCAR. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. There will be no public funeral service and cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory . Memorial contributions may be given to Boys & Girls Club of Goshen.
