S Benjamin Roth

S. Benjamin Roth, 22, of Goshen was found at his home Thursday evening, April 23, 2009. He was born in Goshen on August 27, 1986, to S. Scott and Lori (Langolf) Roth. A junior at Aurora University, Aurora, Illinois, Ben did marketing for several State Farm Agencies.  He was a member of the Calvary Church of Naperville, Illinois. Ben graduated from Goshen High School in 2005 where he played tennis, sang in choir and Crimsonaires.  He played piano and loved the Cubs.  He helped at his parents' store, the former Benjamin's in downtown Goshen. He is survived by his parents, Scott and Lori Roth of Goshen; and grandparents, Albert and Patricia Langolf of Port Huron, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dan and Wilma Roth. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 27, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2009, funeral service will be held at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen.  Rev. Bill Richardson of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church and Rev. Ed Bontreger of Rensselaer, Indiana, will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Aurora University.
