Ryan J. “Bud” Baker, 38, of Bristol, died unexpectedly of natural causes at home Sunday, February 9, 2020.
He was born November 24, 1981 in Goshen to Larry and Rita (Hershberger) Baker.
Ryan is survived by his parents and three siblings, Jonathan (Stacy) Baker of Elkhart, Lori (Jeff) Chandler of Milton, Georgia and Alison (Jeff) Weldy of Bristol; seven nieces and nephews; and his two beloved dogs.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Baker.
A jokester, Ryan enjoyed grilling, smoking meat, hunting, trapping, his cattle and cattle shows. He was a member of the Elkhart County Beef Cattlemen’s Association and the Gelbvieh Association.
He worked as a vet tech at Milford Animal Clinic.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2020, from 2- 4 and 6- 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Friends may also call one hour prior to the Thursday, 11 a.m. service at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church. Pastor Matt Maloney will officiate.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Elkhart County 4-H Beef Club or Elkhart County Beef Cattlemen’s Association.
