Ruthie M. Culp, 75, of Bristol, died at her home Saturday morning, December 18, 2010, at her home. She was born December 28, 1934 in Goshen to the late Floyd and Maxine O. (Rutledge) Swihart.  She married Dale A. Culp October 23, 1969 in Elkhart.  He died March 6, 2009. She is survived by three daughters, Janel (Larry) Kuntz of Cassopolis, Michigan, Marla (Brad) White of Mason, Ohio, and Darcie (Mike) Hartman of Goshen; a step-son, Jeff Culp of Elkhart; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Sarah Jane (Doyle) Saddler of Colby, Kansas; and a brother, George T. (Joan) Swihart of Austin, Colorado. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Judson Swihart. A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Culp retired from AEP, formerly I & M, in customer service.  She had also worked in the cafeteria at Heritage Intermediate School, Middlebury.  She was a member of the Adamsville Road Church of God. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, at the funeral home. A 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Rob Meckley of Adamsville Road Church of God will officiate. Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Elkhart County Humane Shelter of Adamsville Road Church of God.
