Ruth Roberts

Ruth Roberts, 95, of Goshen, died at her home Thursday morning, January 10, 2013. She was born June 6, 1917 in Concord Township to Benjamin and Miriam (Kile) Everest. She married Kenneth W. Roberts, March 23, 1941 in Goshen. He died in 1974. She is survived by a son, Dennis L. Roberts of Goshen, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Kenneth Duane Roberts, Jr., and two brothers, John and Howard Everest. Mrs. Roberts graduated from Jefferson High School in 1936. A machine operator at Whitehall, she retired in 1980 after 30 years. A private graveside service will be conducted Monday, January 14, 2013, at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart. Chaplain Larry Rice will officiate.
