Ruth Wilden Miller, 89, of Cassopolis, Michigan, died unexpectedly late Sunday night, April 27, 2008, at South Bend Memorial Hospital. She was born in Goshen on December 8, 1918, to Thad and Lucretia (Nusbaum) Wilden. She married Robert D. Miller in Albion, Indiana, on April 19, 1937. He survives. Mrs. Miller lived in the Goshen area most of her life, moving to Cassopolis about 25 years ago. She worked at CTS Corporation for 35 years. She was a member of the First Brethren Church, Goshen. She is survived by her husband, Robert; three daughters, Susan (Gary) Bargerhuff of Cassopolis, Pam (Marvin) Eash of Goshen, and Ann (Bill) Lambdin of Nashville, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a half-sister, Joyce McCauley of Vancouver, British Columbia. She was preceded in death by a sister, Winifred Leer; and a brother, Abraham Forry Wilden. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. An 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at First Brethren Church, Goshen. Pastor John Drexler of the church will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to First Brethren Church, Goshen or National Kidney Foundation.
