Ruth Elaine Mast

Ruth Elaine Mast, 83, of Goshen, passed away Monday morning, June 1, 2015 at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born in Elkhart on August 5, 1931 to Paul George and Clara Lucille (McCollum) Cole. On August 9, 1952 she married Lee Mast in Goshen. He died May 29, 2007. Survivors include two sons, Randall Lee (Vicki) Mast of Syracuse and Kendall Cole (Sabina) Mast of Goshen; two grandsons, Travis Layne Mast and Brandon Lee Mast; and a brother, Norman (Jean) Cole of Goshen. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Paul Cole. A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Mast graduated from Goshen High School in 1949. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Goshen and the Women's Club of Goshen. She did clerical work for Penn Controls, Goshen General Hospital, Standard Plating and Goshen Public Library. Friends may call Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and a half hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church. Pastor John Hickey will officiate. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to Faith Lutheran Church.
